  1. Couldn't agree with you more my friend… knowledge and experience is the most important thing that you can carry with you into the woods. A small bit of gear is a bonus.

  2. I'm very happy to see the Friendly Swede gear getting some air time, they're very well thought out kits at a very reasonable price and their customer service/communication is great.

  5. survival kit shod be something you know and you have used before not some surprise packed by someone else, so make your own to fit your skills and needs, I'm carry with me a small knife, one magnesium bar (broken but usable) and around one meter of paracord (7 lines ) this should be enough on my case. Great presentation, looking forward for next vid 🙂

  6. Nice video. My opinion is that a person should ALWAYS CARRY A SURVIVAL KIT / SCOUTING KIT while in the outdoors. Playing the "What If Game", what if you decided to leave camp to explore nearby, fell down a ravine and broke your ankle. You can't walk so you have to wait until your companions find you. So with a small kit you could have a fire (warmth/signaling), stay dry in the rain, block the wind, and so on. If I knew that I was going to be in a survival situation, I'd stay at home, but we never know when shit happens.

  7. You are a minimalist, Mario. I am more of a redundancy guy. I always bring too much. Haha!
