I have 150 foot of climbing rope, a black diamond harness, a figure 8 for descending, and two locking carabiners (Omega's) for my skiing "chairlift " bail out bag that I put in my skiing backpack so if the lift stops, I don't have to wait for the Ski Patrol. They can take quite a while to evac an entire chairlift. Oh yeah, it also stays in my car when not skiing! Great insurance!
