Survival Gear On Amazon How To Shop

Hi, I’m Mark Harris from OpticsPlanet, the holidays are right around the corner and I wanted to
talk to you today about some products that’ll make nice stocking stuffers or gifts.
Here we have the Vortex 10x42mm Diamondback Binoculars.
And don’t say anyting to Vortex about this, but
I think Vortex can charge a lot more than
they do for their products.
These are an
excellent value, they are worth far more
than Vortex charges for these.
They’re bright, they have fully multicoated
lenses, what that means is every
lens surface in here, front and back, inside
and out
has multiple anti-reflective coatings.
Like when you pull your car out of the car wash
and you look at yourself in the glass.
You wouldn’t see that with these.
The less light that gets reflected the more light comes through.
One of the questions we get when folks call in and ask about binoculars is what does the
product come with.
This particular product comes with a set of rubber lens covers front and back, that are removable,
also a really nice padded strap,
and a case that is way out of its
league in the price point.
Very sturdy case, gives it a degree of protection and not just coverage.
You know what? Dad can use another tie like he can use a hold in the head. So, how about we
pony up and get him something really nice this season.
Like the Vortex 10x42mm Diamondback Binoculars.
If you’re looking for the perfect stocking stuffer,
SureFire 6PX Pro is ideal.
Perfect size to slide into the stocking.
Quite a few years ago I was an early adopter and I bought one of the original
SureFire 6P’s
and I thought I was pretty special
because I thought I had a really nice light,
which I did.
more recently SureFire has the 6PX Pro.
The 6PX Pro has some really nice features,
start out with it has an aluminum body
hard anodized this isn’t going to melt on your dashboard.
If you’re a law enforcement officer you
carry this with you on the job,
it can get banged around, it’s not going to go
down on you, it has an LED light as
opposed to xenon.
The LED is virtually unbreakable it
will last for tens of thousands of hours.
LED’s also kind of sip at power.
This has two brightness settings it has
15 lumens at low which is adequate if
you need to read something, look in your car,
look in a briefcase.
It also has a 200 lumen setting,
which is nice if you want to
set things in your briefcase on fire.
If you want to reach out a little bit this can also be mounted on a weapon very easily with
a standard ring.
Has a crenellated bezel again if you’re
law enforcement if you have to use this
as a non-lethal weapon, if you screw this into
somebody’s temple, it’s going to get their
attention. But it also has the benefit of collecting DNA
for later analysis and identification
of a suspect.
On the 15 lumen output
you’re looking at something along the
lines of
45 hours of runtime.
On the 200 lumen output you’re
looking at roughly 2.5 hours
so
the LED really gives you some long run times with this.
If you’ve got somebody on your Christmas list
that appreciates a really fine tool
an illumination aficionado.
This will make an outstanding gift. I know I’m going to ask for one and if my wife
doesn’t get it for me, I’m going to buy my own.
Another really nice illumination tool
that would look nice in a stocking on
your mantlepiece
is the Night-Ops Legacy X9-P by Blackhawk.
The Blackhawk Night-Ops Legacy X9-P flashlight
is a little bit different we get
three CR123 A-cells, we
have a constant output
120 lumens
This is a xenon bulb as opposed to an LED bulb.
The batteries are going to go a little more
quickly than an LED, but you get a bit more
of a throw from this.
It’s o-ring sealed, it has a pressure switch and a click switch.
Blackhawk says that the output of this equal to a 12 D-cell light.
So this is a pretty compact package as
opposed to a 12 D-cell.
Who would this be good for?
Who wouldn’t this be good for. Be nice to have around the house, in case the power goes out, be good to have in
your car, throw it in the glove box, it’s not
going to get beat up because remember it’s
polymer and glass.
Also if you have a family member that’s in law enforcement
this can be weapons mountable it can also be used as a non-lethal restraint for pressure points.
It’s got something for everybody
this is the Spec-Ops X9-P by Blackhawk.
This is my favorite gun,
you know why?
Because it’s not real and I don’t have to clean it.
With the holidays coming up just in case the guy
coming down your chimney isn’t the guy
in the red suit,
you want to have a nice clean AR.
With the Gunslick Pro AR-15 cleaning kit you can do that.
Comes with cleaner, oil,
patches, three section steel rod,
slotted tip, bore brush,
chamber brush very important for an AR, and a mop.
My favorite part is if you’re like me
and you’re cleaning your gun on the kitchen table,
the doorbell rings,
my wife wants to just start throwing things in drawers.
This comes with a very nice zippered case
so she can can put it away nicely so I can
use it in the future.
Best stocking stuffer you can get
for under twenty five dollars,
is the Gunslick Pro AR-15 Cleaning Kit.
If you’re looking for a nice product to drop into the stocking of the firearms enthusiast in your
family, or if you’re living by yourself and want something to drop into your own stocking,
be surprised.
I would highly recommend this product by
Sightmark, This is the UltraShot QD Reflex Sight
What Sightmark has done with this for a reasonable price, is
they’ve incorporated a lot of features from other manufacturers into
one decent unit.
It has the metal roll bar that you see
on some of the holographic sights so they
can take a beating without having any problems,
a feature that I really like about this is
the battery is on the side, can be
replaced by taking this door off
so once you’ve got this things sighted in and the battery needs changing,
you don’t have to take this off like a
lot of red dot sites and then have to go back
and re-zero it. It’s pretty slick.
Not only do you have an intensity setting but you have a choice a reticles,
there are four different reticles you can access from the rear of this
by pushing this switch.
There’s a circle dot, there’s a crosshair,
there’s a single dot, there’s some bars.
This is kind of neat, you can pretend to yourself that you get a new sight when you get tired of one,
you can see what works best for you.
It’s also got a quick release base, so it’s
easy
to drop on anything with a standard picatinny or
weaver rail, and you’re ready to go.
This being a red dot sight, it’s not terribly important where on this rail you put it.
It’s got a lot to it for a very
reasonable price, making it an excellent gift this holiday.
This is the Sightmark UltraShot QD Reflex Sight.
So, it’s Christmas Eve, you hear a noise on the roof. Is it the fat guy with the reindeer and all the loot?
Or is it the neighbor’s teenage kid again?
Good way to find out which it is,
this product, the ATN Night Cougar Night Vision Goggles
It’s a really nice unit. It has fold down eye cups to seal out any extraneous light, it also prevents people from
seeing you, a little bit of a green glow
is cast on your face.
The controls are very simple, you’ve got a
simple on/off switch here,
also is a built in infrared illuminator.
You don’t need ambient light for these to
work. You can use this in complete
darkness, indoors
in a basement, in a barn.
Comes with a very nice carrying case
also has
something really unusual at this price point,
has a headgear set.
This is adjustable to fit the diameter of your head.
Also to position the goggles themselves.
They can flip up out of the way and right back down in a matter of a couple of seconds.
Night Vision Night Cougar, from ATN.
Okay, you’ve got two choices, you can make this a crappy Christmas,
like when my Uncle Howard got me a half gallon of
malted milk balls. Or you can make this an excellent Christmas
with products like these and many more. This is Mark Harris from OpticsPlanet wishing you a happy holidays.
