  1. Appreciate Video! Sorry for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard the talk about – Proutklarton Incredible Match Plan (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is an awesome exclusive product for getting an understanding of how to survive in a disaster and make your own survival food without the headache. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my mate at very last got great success with it.

  2. If you are wet and cold and it is cold you have more of a chance of dying from hypothermia than surviving using those high price pretty play toys. I'll take a lighter or ferro rod with some cotton ball soaked with vaseline or magnesium shaving, or even dry fat wood shavings or char wood. Your hand and fingers will be hard to use and as your body gets colder it looses it's ability to function and having to fidget with those toys will be extremely difficult and if not done properly and quickly will eventually become impossible to do and you may not survive. I know I've had survival training and have been purposely dumped into a creek and completely submerged and then had to build a fire in freezing temperatures with a strong wind. I did it more than once to show and teach people what to do and not to do. Starting and building a fire in those conditions are harder that you think. So leave the toys at home. Just my on personal advice.

  3. I've been fiddling with fire starters for some time. Best results I've came across is Cotton balls dipped in paraffin wax. Give a good 12 – 15 minute burn with only a fero rod. Easy, cheap and great results
