  1. I have one of hose knifes and I Love it. It is a great backup knife or to keep in your mess kit to eat with and open cans or small carvings. I have just picked up a new small mora so it will start being my carving knife

  2. they went out of business in 2007 then another company another company pick them up and start making some cheap crappy knives but the original company itself made really really good knives

  3. You should see the Camillus website. They only sell about 10 slipjoints now and they dont give sizes or proper names (trapper-stockman),  just seems to be an after thought to their now tacti-cool collection of knives.  Really made me feel sad…
Taylor has done a much better job of carrying on Schrade knives.

  4. Hello there,

After much searching I have found the first info on the USAF survival pocket knife. I am a long time retired USAF Air Traffic Controller and part of my duties included many hours of flight time. I had to attend several survival schools and was issued several of these knives over the years. I find them to be very dependable and carry one almost always. My question is about repair. One of my knives has either a lost or broken back spring and I would like to return it to functioning use. Can you advise me as to how to go about it? I have been able to find any info at all until you.

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

    BTW, Merry Christmas.
